Madrilen 500
Description
Madrilen 500 HDPE Sheet for Orthotic Fabrication
Madrilen 500 is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet designed for orthotic and prosthetic fabrication. This lightweight material offers excellent rigidity and durability, making it suitable for producing strong, supportive orthoses.
With little to no memory, Madrilen 500 maintains its moulded shape after forming, helping ensure consistent performance in clinical applications. The press-moulded construction provides very good impact strength and flexural strength for long-lasting use.
Key Features
- High-density polyethylene (HDPE) orthotic sheet
- Lightweight material with rigid performance
- Very low memory for stable shape retention
- Very good impact and flexural strength
- Press moulded for consistent quality
- Typical thermoforming temperature: 160–185°C
Applications
Madrilen 500 is widely used in orthotic workshops for the fabrication of AFOs (ankle foot orthoses), KAFOs (knee ankle foot orthoses), foot orthoses and body jackets. Its strength and rigidity make it particularly suitable for devices that require structural support and durability.
This material is ideal for orthotists and technicians who require a dependable thermoplastic for producing strong, long-lasting orthotic devices across a range of clinical applications.
