Irripod® is a preservative-free isotonic sterile solution of sodium chloride in water (saline).  It is useful in the topical irrigation and cleansing of wounds, including deep wounds and burns.  Irripod can also be used as an eyewash.
 

• Sterile solution of 0.9 w/v sodium chloride in purified water, packed in a polyethylene capsule.
• The squeezable capsule gives the flexibility needed to irrigate simply and effectively, without tissue trauma.
• Isotonic solution, so it will not harm cells. Because each capsule is sterile, self-contained and disposable, minimising the risk of cross-contamination.
• Preservative-free, isotopic solution.
• Indications: cleaning of wounds, deep wounds, burns, eye wash.
• Easy twist open pods, hold firmly and squeeze to directly apply a stream of sterile saline to the affected area or invert the pod and squeeze gently to apply as drops.
