Hook and Loop

Hook and Loop is a basic functional fastener that is widely used in the Orthotics and Prosthetics industry because it is simple to use and versatile, allowing it to be used on a wide range of products. The fastener is made up of two fabric strips, one with a hook (rough) and the other with a loop (soft).

When they are pressed together the tapes grip each other and form a strong bond, but when needed to can still be pulled apart. The strip can be cut to a certain length easily to meet the needs of the patient.
