Description

Economy Transfer Paper Pink Princess for Orthotic Thermoplastics

Economy transfer paper Pink Princess is designed to apply bright, decorative patterns to thermoplastic materials used in orthotic fabrication. This heat-transfer paper allows clinicians and technicians to create colourful, customised orthoses with a smooth and durable finish.

During the heating process, the design transfers into the surface of the thermoplastic material, producing a deep and long-lasting colour. The result is a homogeneous surface that resists scuffing and wear while maintaining the integrity of the orthotic device.

Key Features

  • Heat transfer paper for thermoplastic orthotic materials
  • Pink Princess design for custom and paediatric finishes
  • Creates vibrant, long-lasting colour during heating
  • Maintains smooth, scuff-resistant surface
  • Compatible with most thermoplastic materials
  • Supplied in 5 metre rolls

Applications

This transfer paper is widely used in orthotic workshops to customise AFOs, braces and other thermoplastic devices. The princess-themed design makes it particularly suitable for paediatric orthoses, helping improve patient engagement and acceptance.

It provides a quick and efficient way to personalise orthotic appliances without affecting performance or structural properties. The heating process intensifies the pattern, ensuring a durable and long-lasting finish.

Application Guide

  1. Cut a template from your thermoplastic material.
  2. Cut a piece of transfer paper slightly smaller than the template to prevent contact with the heating plate.
  3. Heat the thermoplastic material to its operating temperature.
  4. Place the transfer paper face down onto the heated material using minimal pressure and protective gloves.
  5. Smooth the paper to remove bubbles and wrinkles (approximately 15–20 seconds).
  6. Allow the colouring process to occur at 170–220°C (optimal around 210°C).
  7. After 15–45 seconds, remove the paper and continue forming as required.

Caution

  • Transfers may bleed or rub off onto fabrics or skin when handled.
  • Colour tones may vary depending on material, temperature and processing method.
  • Thermoplastic type and heating conditions can affect the final appearance.
  • Avoid contamination such as dust or moisture between paper and material.
  • Do not allow the design to contact heating elements.
  • Always use appropriate protective equipment when handling heated materials.
