Aortha PPH
Description
Aortha PPH Rigid Polypropylene Sheet for Orthotic Fabrication
Aortha PPH is a polypropylene homopolymer thermoplastic sheet designed for orthotic and prosthetic fabrication. Known for its high stiffness and strength, it is ideal for producing rigid, supportive orthotic devices.
Compared to copolymer polypropylene (PPC), PPH offers greater rigidity and strength in thinner applications, making it suitable for orthoses that require structural stability and minimal flex.
Key Features
- Polypropylene homopolymer (PPH) orthotic sheet
- Higher rigidity than copolymer polypropylene (PPC)
- High strength-to-weight ratio
- Lightweight yet strong construction
- Good impact resistance and durability
- Suitable for thinner, rigid orthotic designs
- Typical thermoforming temperature: 180–200°C
Applications
Aortha PPH is widely used in orthotic and prosthetic workshops for the fabrication of AFOs (ankle foot orthoses), KAFOs (knee ankle foot orthoses), prosthetic sockets and body jackets.
Its high stiffness makes it particularly suitable for devices that require strong structural support and minimal flexibility, providing stability and durability in clinical use.
